Evidence of your loved ones survival after death is indeed the mediums job. However, if the entire reading is strictly factual, this is what has been coined the term being a "checklist medium". Often times this type of reading is devoid of emotions and the essence of your loved one in spirit. A good medium should be honoring what your loved ones wants to communicate to you in your reading instead of the medium going through a list of questions your loved one needs to answer.
Emotion + Evidence are an important part of the communication.
The best reading in my opinion is one that includes both emotion and evidence of survival after death. If you're able to feel your loved ones during your reading the medium has done a good job.
You’ll never get the same reading twice.
Whether it’s with the same medium you go to for a second reading or it’s a new medium you’ll always have a unique experience. Every medium has a different ability in the way that they share and work with the spirit world. Your loved ones will always find a new angle to share different parts of themselves with you making every reading different.
Don't expect your loved one in spirit to be a different person in spirit then they were here.
If your loved one was naturally quiet when they were alive, they won't all of the sudden be a chatter box on the other side. Not every medium will be your medium. As such in life we communicate with some people better than others, some spirits will connect better through certain mediums. Mediums are human too. They are working with the very subtle language of spirit and will continue to develop their skills over time. Integral mediums are doing the best they can to be able to reunite you with your loved one.
Your mediumship reading should in no way leave you feeling worse than when you came.
The spirit world is a loving place. I have never in my time felt any fear when communicating with the spirit world. If your medium talks about the spirit world in a fearful way I would look the other way.
Each medium is unique and has their own way of honouring spirit.
Every psychic medium has their own way of reading, that's what makes everyone distinctive in their own right.
